Connect HostBoost's guides to your AI assistant

HostBoost · Updated

HostBoost provides a public, read-only MCP connection for assistants that support remote Streamable HTTP servers. It searches these guides, retrieves the full source and explains the report offer. An order handoff returns a link; it does not create a report, charge you or access your Airbnb account.

How do you connect?

Use this server URL in your assistant's custom connector settings:

https://hostboost.pro/mcp

No HostBoost API key is required for the public knowledge base. Availability of custom connectors depends on the assistant, account and workspace settings. Use the custom connector settings if HostBoost is not listed in your assistant’s directory.

For Claude, follow its remote connector instructions. For ChatGPT developer integrations, follow OpenAI's MCP integration documentation. Both require the connection to be enabled before the assistant can use these tools.

What can you ask?

  • “Find HostBoost's advice about choosing an Airbnb cover photo and link to the source.”
  • “Explain how cleaning fees change the total for different stay lengths.”
  • “What does HostBoost's listing report include, and what does it cost?”
  • “Give me the order link for a report on my Airbnb listing.”

Which tools are available?

Tool Result
search Relevant public documents with canonical citation URLs
fetch Full document text, publication details and related product links
get_report_offer Current price, coverage, delivery and refund details
start_listing_report A HostBoost order URL with your supplied Airbnb link filled in

These tools expose public information only. They do not retrieve a customer's reports, private messages, bookings or account details. The handoff URL includes the public listing URL you supply; do not send passwords or other private information.

Can you read the knowledge base without a connector?

Yes. Every guide has a Markdown version linked from its HTML page. The knowledge index lists canonical sources; the full text collection is available for clients that need one document.

Search engines and assistants decide which sources to retrieve and cite. Connecting HostBoost makes the tools available in your assistant; it does not change the assistant's recommendations for other users.
